Two U.S. Troops Killed and One Missing in Jordan Following Iran Attack

Two American soldiers were killed in an Iranian ballistic missile attack in Jordan yesterday, the US Central Command announces.

In a statement, CENTCOM says two service members were killed, one is missing in action, and four were wounded while defending against Iran’s attacks in Jordan on Friday.

CENTCOM says the wounded soldiers were taken to Jordanian hospitals and have since been discharged, and “other personnel who were evaluated for minor injuries have returned to duty.”

“Out of respect for the families, CENTCOM will withhold additional information, including the identities of the fallen warriors, until 24 hours after the next of kin have been notified,” the statement added.
