President Bafel: We are Eager for Peaceful Resolution to the Issues

Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union Kurdistan (PUK), was visited by Yann Braem, the Consul General of France in the Kurdistan Region.
The two parties deliberated on the enduring ties between the Kurdish people and France and underscored the need to enhance collaboration to safeguard the supreme interests.
Regarding the political situation in the Kurdistan Region, Iraq and the region, President Bafel pointed to the efforts of the PUK and said: "We are eager for a peaceful resolution to the issues causing instability in the region and endangering people's lives. It is crucial for everyone to prioritize problem-solving and approach the situation with a sense of responsibility."
