PUK congratulates Iraqi Communist Party on the 87th anniversary of its founding

On Tuesday, the Political Bureau of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) sent a congratulatory message to communist party cadres on the occasion of the 87th anniversary of its founding.

 

Below is the full text of the message:

On behalf of the Political Bureau and the Leadership Council of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, we congratulate you on the 87th anniversary of the founding of the Iraqi Communist Party.

 

Your party, through its history of struggle and in order to achieve the national and democratic goals of the Iraqi people, has made a lot of sacrifices.

 

The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) is inciting the development of friendly relations with your party, and over the past years, during the difficult stages of the struggle for the liberation of the homeland, democracy, progress and community justice, we have been side by side in the trenches and positions.

 

We hope that at this stage of the struggle as well, we will act with all political forces, out of a common national and democratic responsibility and duty, and that we maintain harmony between us and work on developing the provision of services to our people as well as achieving common goals and tasks.

 

Once again, we congratulate you on the occasion, and send peace and loyalty to the souls of your righteous martyrs and all the martyrs of Kurdistan.
