Iraq Türkiye Kurdistan Region Delphi Forum Sulaymaniyah

Iraqi President Nizar Amedi held talks on Saturday with former Turkish Prime Minister and Future Party leader Ahmet Davutoğlu, focusing on ways to deepen Iraq-Türkiye cooperation in support of economic growth, environmental sustainability and regional stability.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of the second Delphi Economic Forum in Sulaymaniyah, where both sides exchanged views on a range of regional and international issues and discussed opportunities to strengthen bilateral ties in areas of shared interest.

President Amedi and Davutoğlu highlighted the importance of continued dialogue and cooperation in addressing common challenges, stressing that closer coordination remains essential to advancing stability, fostering development and promoting prosperity across the region.

Discussions also centered on expanding economic partnerships, encouraging investment and strengthening the exchange of expertise to support sustainable development and respond to evolving economic realities.
