Western Kurdistan Reports 27 new COVID-19 cases

On Thursday, the Health Board of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) announced the recording of 27 new cases of coronavirus in the regions of northeast Syria.
The official Autonomous Administration account on Facebook cited Jiwan Mustafa, co-chair of the Health Board, saying that the infections are 15 males and 12 females, while no deaths recorded.
The infections were seven each in Kobani and Hawl Camp, five in Tabqa, four in Hasakah, three in Qamishli, two in Raqqa, and one in Derik.
The Health Board also recorded two recoveries.
With the announcement of these new infections, the number of coronavirus cases in northeast Syria has risen to 17,946, including 732 deaths and 1,817 recoveries.
