Kurdistan Region records 589 new Covid cases, 791 recoveries

The Kurdistan Region has recorded 589 new positive cases of coronavirus, raising the total number to 171,873 in the region.

 

The Health Ministry said on Thursday, there have been 7 death cases from the coronavirus during the day, the death toll is 4,302.

 

It also said that 791 people recovered during the day, bringing the total recoveries from the disease to 158,624.

 

The new cases were recorded after 9,592 suspected cases were tested across the Kurdistan Region during the past 24 hours. 

 

The Health Ministry, as usual, thanked the efforts of all health workers, calling on citizens to adhere to health instructions, and to contact the hotline "122" for any emergency.
