Kurdistan Region records 653 new Covid cases, 781 recoveries

The Kurdistan Region has recorded 653 new positive cases of coronavirus, raising the total number to 171,284 in the region.

 

The Health Ministry said on Wednesday, there have been 10 death cases from the coronavirus during the day, the death toll is 4,295.

 

It also said that 781 people recovered during the day, bringing the total recoveries from the disease to 157,833.

 

The new cases were recorded after 9,190 suspected cases were tested across the Kurdistan Region during the past 24 hours. 

 

The Health Ministry, as usual, thanked the efforts of all health workers, calling on citizens to adhere to health instructions, and to contact the hotline "122" for any emergency.
