Backed by International Coalition, SDF raids eastern Deir Ezzor arresting ISIS cells

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: SOHR activists in areas held by the Syrian Democratic Forces east of the Euphrates have monitored a security campaign by SDF in early hours of Tuesday morning, in Hawaij area in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, as several people were arrested, most of whom were accused of belonging to ISIS cells.
The campaign was carried out with the International Coalition air support. It is worth noting that this is the second time that Hawaij is raided during which people are arrested, in less than ten days.
On April 18, SOHR reported that patrols of Syria Democratic Forces, backed by International Coalition helicopters, carried out a security campaign, targeting several houses in Hawaij town in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.
SDF security forces arrested five people for “belonging to ISIS cells” and confiscated individual weapons in their positions.
