In the memory of the martyrs of the Red Falcon Organization

The history pages of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan are full of pride and achievements, the PUK center of Baghdad on the occasion of the forty-third anniversary of the martyrdom of a group of young men and activists of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan called the Red Falcon Organization, recalled on behalf on their great memory. 

 

The Organization members were executed on 4/10/1978 after they carried out the heroic operation in the center of Baghdad, assassinating one of the figures of the defunct regime at the time. 

 

The freedom that the country citizens are enjoying today is the result of the sacrifice they have made with their souls and today each one of them became a story that has passed down to the younger generations and became symbols of courage and fearlessness. 

 

In this great memory and anniversary, we shall remember how the cruel dictatorial regime took away those great people and motivate us to stand with reverence on their precious memory. 

 

Greetings to your souls, we have touched liberation and our breath of freedom through your sacrifices. Words do not fulfill your right, and we pledge to your pure souls that we are on the path and that we will rise and be proud.
