Iraq-Friday, eighteen years ago on this date, Iraq has been liberated from the dictatorship system called Saddam Regime.

On April 9, 2003, the Saddam Regime fall, and all the Iraqi cities have been cleansed by the multinational forces led by the United States and Britain.

The multinational forces joined the liberation of Iraq for almost 40-45 days aiming to end the destruction and mass killing of Saddam Hussien's Regime to the neighboring countries and Kurdish people throughout the country.

The operation began on March 19, 2003, which lasted until May 1. In the operation about 177,000 U.S. troops, 45,000 British Soldiers, and 2000 Australian Soldiers along with some others from different countries joined the war again the Regime.

Since the establishment of the Iraqi state after the First World War, the policies and political thought of the leaders of Iraq and the theories of dealing with the Kurdish national issue and Iraqi Kurdistan has been a fundamental factor in all other Iraqi crises.

This has been in a continuous pattern of thinking in the second decade of post-Saddam Hussein rule, there will be other options for the Kurdish people, as the Kurdish leadership, political parties, and masses cannot stand idly by about the policy and risks of withdrawal in front of the Kurdish issue, especially after the changes in the conditions of the world and the region and the geostrategic game of the countries of the region and the world will not be towards sacrificing the Kurdish people, in addition to that, the Kurds today are an effective member on the Middle Eastern scene. These convictions did not come from vanity, but rather a product of the reality of the situation and a reading of the conflicts and correct trends of the historical movement in the region.

On the eighteenth anniversary of the dictator’s removal in Iraq, we remind everyone that neither the Iraqis nor the Kurds can allow the return of dictatorship under any pretext or any form or mask, and it must be said here that if there is a consensus to establish a quasi-dictatorial authority under any pretext or name in Iraq The people of Kurdistan alone reject this scenario, and will not once again leave their destiny in the wind, and will decide their fate.
