The second batch of Chine's Covid vaccine to arrive in Iraq by April 11

The Iraqi embassy in China announced, on Thursday, that the latter will send about 200 thousand other doses of the Corona vaccine to Iraq, indicating that 20 thousand of them will be sent to the Kurdistan Region.
Shorish Khalid Saeed, the Iraqi ambassador to China, told PUKmedia that the coming days will witness the sending of the second batch of the Chinese vaccine (Sinopharm), amounting to 200,000 doses, to Iraq.
He added, that the Federal Ministry of Health and the Iraqi Embassy in Beijing are making efforts to provide the vaccine for Corona, pointing out that the second dose of the vaccine will arrive in Iraq on April 11th.
He pointed out that the Kurdistan Region’s share of the second batch of the Chinese vaccine will arrive in the region after it reaches the capital, Baghdad, adding that the region’s share of this batch amounts to 20,000 doses.
