Iraq records 5,379 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours

The Iraqi Health Ministry confirmed 5,379 new cases of the coronavirus, raising the total number to 868,200 in the country.

 

The Iraqi Health Ministry said on Saturday that 42 more people died from the coronavirus during the day, bringing the death toll to 14,430.

 

The Ministry also said that 5,017recovered from the disease bringing the total recovery cases to 773,232 in Iraq.

 

The new cases were recorded after 43,089 suspected cases were tested across Iraq during the past 24 hours
