Iraqi Defense Ministry delegation visits Peshmerga's unit 70 forces

On Tuesday, a delegation from the Physical Training Department of the Iraqi Ministry of Defense visited the headquarters of the unit 70 forces of the Kurdish Peshmerga forces to develop and enhance joint coordination between the two sides.

 

Talking about aim of the visit, Mustafa Chawrash, commander of the unit 70 forces, said during a press conference: "We welcome our brothers, the representatives of the Ministry of Defense, to develop the physical capacity of our forces."

 

Chawrash stressed on the importance of these visits to enhance and develop coordination between the army and the Peshmerga.

 

He pointed out that the delegation's visit was at the invitation from the  unit 70 forces, where he said: "The ministry graciously agreed to send a delegation of officers to enhance and develop the physical capabilities of the unit 70 Peshmergas."

 

He added: "This delegation will work to raise the physical level of the Peshmerga forces."

 

Stressing at the same time that physical training is very important, and these visits will contribute to the development of brotherhood among all components.
