PUK, Iraqi Communist Party discuss preparations for upcoming Iraqi elections

The Iraqi Relations Office of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) received in Baghdad, a leading delegation from the Iraqi Communist Party on Tuesday.

 

The delegation of the Communist Party was headed by Dr. Mufid Al Jazaery, Head of the Central Relations Committee in the Iraqi Communist Party, Dr. Ali Mahdi and Mr. Fadel Al Mousawi, members of the Relations Committee..

 

The two sides discussed the historical relations that bring together the two parties and the need to continue  these relations for the good of the Iraqi people. 

 

The challenges facing the country and the ongoing preparations for the upcoming elections were also discussed.

 

At the end of the meeting, the visiting delegation thanked the the head of the PUK's Iraqi Relations Office and conveyed greetings to the leadership of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, which was, is, and will remain on the path of the nation’s late leader, Mam Jalal.
