Portugal's Kurdish footballer to the ranks of Turkish Rizespor club

Osama Rashid, footballer of the Iraqi national football team and Portugal's Santa Clara club, heads to the Turkish league.
Iraq's Kurdish footballer, Osama Rashid, has reached final agreement to play for the Turkish Rizespor Club until the end of this year.
Osama is of Kurdish origins was born in 1992 in Kirkuk city. He is scheduled to arrive in Turkey in the next few days and be officially introduced by the Turkish sports media.
Osama began his journey as a footballer from a very young age, as he joined Feyenoord in 1999 from ZOB, an amateur club from Zuidoostbeemster. Since then, he play for many European clubs.
He switched allegiance to his birth country of Iraq, when the national team was managed by former Brazilian footballer Zico, and made his debut in a 6–0 defeat to Brazil. He was called up to the 2015 AFC Asian Cup in Australia where Iraq finished 4th.
