First Kurd receives COVID vaccine in Denmark

Dr. Shad Rashid is the first Kurd in Denmark to receive the coronavirus vaccine .
"I received the vaccine in Denmark, on 12/28/2020, which was provided first to doctors and health personnel, and then to patients with chronic diseases," Rashid told PUKmedia on Monday.
He added that "the vaccination campaign will continue in Denmark until next June."
Dr. Shad Rashid hoped that the vaccine will reach the Kurdistan Region before a new wave of the virus reaches it.
He confirmed that he was the first Kurd to receive the vaccine in Denmark.
The total number of cases since the outbreak is 181,486 in Denmark, while the country recorded 1,570 dearth cases.
In 1993, population of Kurds in Denmark was estimated as 12,000 by Kurdish Institute of Paris (KIP). Today, KIP estimates the same number as 25,000.
