Kurdistan Region announces 68 new COVID-19 cases, tally touches 104,402

The Kurdistan Region has recorded 68 new positive cases of coronavirus, raising the total number to 104,402 in the region.

 

The health ministry said on Sunday that 6 people died from the coronavirus during the day, bringing the death toll to 3,424. 

 

The new cases were recorded after 3757 suspected cases were tested across the Kurdistan Region during the past 24 hours.

 

It also said that 968 people recovered during the day, bringing the total recoveries from the disease to 79,970.

 

The Health Ministry, as usual, thanked the efforts of all health workers, calling on citizens to adhere to health instructions and to stay at their homes, and to contact the hotline "122" for any emergency.
