Sulaymaniyah: Building houses for stray dogs and cats

A number of volunteers launched a project to build houses for stray dogs and cats in Sulaymaniyah Governorate to protect them, provide food and medical care for them.
Twana Amin, a volunteer at the project, told PUKmedia, "The idea of the project is to build more than 20 homes for stray dogs and cats in parks and public places to protect them from cold weather and snowfall, and provide them with food and health care."
He pointed out that the have started building the houses from the Hawari Shar Park in Sulaymaniyah, and that they are planning to gradually build other housing for the animals in several other places.
