Kurdistan VP, Acting Hungarian CG Stress Importance of Resolving Erbil-Baghdad Issues Via Dialogue

Kurdistan Region Vice President Sheikh Jaafar Sheikh Mustafa and Hungarian Acting CG Dominika Kovács.

Kurdistan Region Vice President Sheikh Jaafar Sheikh Mustafa met on Monday with Dominika Kovács, the Acting Consul General of Hungary in the Kurdistan Region.

The meeting focused on relations between Hungary and the Kurdistan Region, with both sides discussing ways to strengthen cooperation and enhance coordination in support of political stability and security in the region.

They also exchanged views on the internal political situation in the Kurdistan Region, including ongoing efforts to form a new cabinet of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG).

The two sides stressed the importance of resolving the outstanding issues between Erbil and Baghdad through dialogue and in accordance with the Iraqi Constitution.
