SDF Leadership Holds Talks with Syrian Interim Government in Damascus

Mazloum Abdi and Ilham Ahmed Meet Syrian Interim Government Officials in Damascus.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), Mazloum Abdi, and the Co-Chair of the Department of Foreign Relations of Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES), Ilham Ahmed, held talks with the President of the Syrian Interim Government, Ahmed al-Sharaa, in Damascus. The meeting was also attended by Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shaibani and Presidential Envoy Ziad al-Ayesh, and focused on advancing the process of integration within state institutions.

Media outlets affiliated with the Interim Government reported that discussions centred on strengthening coordination and following up on steps related to incorporating administrative and military structures into official state institutions.
