Qubad Talabani visits Peshmerga Health Foundation.

On Tuesday, 6 April 2026, Qubad Talabani, Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, visited the Peshmerga Health Foundation, where he toured Shorsh and Chami Rezan hospitals.

During the visit, Qubad Talabani met with the Director General, Dr Hemn Asi, the Deputy Director General, Dr Hawzhin Osman, as well as officials from the Foundation and the two hospitals. He praised their efforts in serving the Peshmerga, the families of martyrs, and the wider public.

Talabani said, “We take pride in the doctors and staff at the Foundation, who carry out their duties with dedication and provide care with professionalism and compassion.” He added that “the Peshmerga Health Foundation is a legacy of President Mam Jalal for the Peshmerga and the families of martyrs, and as such, it merits greater attention and further development.”

In conclusion, the Deputy Prime Minister expressed his full support for advancing the Foundation, calling for its services to be expanded to districts and sub-districts. He also pledged to provide the necessary equipment and resources to enhance patient care.
