PUK President Calls for Unity and Stability in Eid al-Fitr Message

As Muslims in Kurdistan, Iraq, and around the world celebrate Eid al-Fitr, PUK President Bafel Jalal Talabani extends his warmest congratulations, urging unity, cooperation, and the preservation of security and stability across the region.

The following is PUK President’s message:

On the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, I extend my warmest and most sincere congratulations to Muslims in the Kurdistan Region, Iraq, and across the world, wishing them peace and happiness.

As we mark this blessed Eid, the region is facing challenging circumstances. It is therefore our duty to unite our efforts and work together in a spirit of cooperation and patriotism to preserve security and stability in our country, so that our people are not drawn into conflict.

May Almighty God accept everyone’s fasting and worship during the month of Ramadan, and safeguard our homeland and our people from all harm.
