Kurdistan VP Stresses Coexistence and Dialogue in Eid Message

On the occasion of eid al-Fitr, Sheikh Jaafar Sheikh Mustafa, Kurdistan Region Vice President, offers his warm congratulations to all Muslims, the families of martyrs and Anfal victims, and heroic Peshmerga, emphasising peaceful coexistence, dialogue, and regional stability.

Kurdistan VP’s message:

On the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, I extend my warmest congratulations to all Muslims in Kurdistan, Iraq and across the world, as well as to the proud families of martyrs and Anfal victims, and all the heroic Peshmerga. I hope you spend this occasion in a peaceful atmosphere, free from tensions and complications in the region.

On this occasion, we reaffirm the importance of peaceful coexistence among all communities in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq. I hope that peace and unity will prevail across the world, bringing an end to the war, bloodshed and destruction in the Middle East. All parties should return to the negotiating table, as it remains the only path to resolving disputes, restoring security and stability in the region, and protecting the lives of all citizens.
