PUK Delegation Signs Agricultural, Investment Contracts in Dubai

A delegation from the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) signed multiple contracts in Dubai for the purpose of investing in and constructing factories in Sulaymaniyah.

The PUK delegation comprises PUK's Political Bureau members Sheikh Ahmed Nokan and Dr. Hawre Sheikh Daro. Based on the information acquired by PUKMEDIA, the signed contracts pertain to the domains of commerce, agriculture, and investment.

A source from the delegation informed PUKMEDIA that in addition to signing many contracts, the team will gain valuable insights from Dubai investors regarding commerce and comprehensive investment.

According to the source, the PUK aims to rejuvenate the agricultural and food industries in Sulaymaniyah and Halabja, as well as the Garmian and Raparin Administrations. Their objective is to safeguard food security and enhance employment prospects.

"The PUK has established robust ties with authorities and investors from the UAE and is actively seeking to enhance and expand existing connections," the source said.

Adding: "The objective is to leverage these relationships for the betterment of the residents of Sulaymaniyah, Halabja, Raparin, and Garmian."

The PUK delegation is currently engaged in an official visit to the UAE, with a duration spanning several days, during which they have planned a series of significant meetings.
