CTG and ICTS capture three terrorists in Kirkuk

A coordinated operation was carried out by the General Directorate of the Counter-Terrorism Group (CTG) and the Iraqi Counter-Terrorism Service (ICTS) in Kirkuk Governorate.

In an operation in the Hamrin Mountains and Kirkuk Province, CTG, in cooperation with ICTS and International Coalition forces, captured three wanted terrorists and seized a variety of weaponry. Additionally, they disclosed a joint operation against terrorist bases beyond the Kurdistan Region.

The operation took place in the village of Tarfawiyya, Wadi Zagron, near Hamrin Mountain, in the al-Rashad district, in the Kirkuk Governorate.
