President Rashid welcomes the Turkish Ambassador to Iraq

The President of the Republic of Iraq, Dr. Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, welcomed the Turkish Ambassador to Iraq, Ali Riza Guney, at Salam Palace in Baghdad. 

At the start of the meeting, President Rashid was presented with a letter from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan that covered bilateral relations, the necessity of enhancing coordination and cooperation between the two countries based on shared interests, consideration for upholding regional peace and stability, and the importance of enhancing communication. Besides inviting President Rashid to come to Turkey.
 
In turn, President Rashid thanked the Turkish ambassador for the invitation he extended to him and conveyed his greetings and best wishes to Turkish President Erdogan and the Turks for continued prosperity and progress. He also emphasized the significance of fostering bilateral relations and cooperation for the benefit of both countries.
