Macron announces his deep concern regarding current Iraqi situation

On Tuesday, French President Emmanuel Macron announced his support for the initiative of Federal Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi regarding the political events in Iraq.

"I am deeply concerned about the situation in Iraq," Macron said in a tweet, stressing "the need for calm and restraint to prevail."

"I join Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi's call for dialogue and consultation in response to the aspirations of the Iraqis," he added.
