Qubad Talabani says no one is above the law

Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region Qubad Talabani visited the headquarters of the Kurdistan Region's Parastin u Zanyari / Zanyari Agency in Qalachwalan on Sunday.

The meeting discussed coordination and joint work between the security and intelligence agencies to provide more security and stability.

Talabani reaffirmed his support for the agency and said, "It is gratifying that a national agency is constantly working to protect the security of the Kurdistan Region and reaffirmed his support for the success of their duties." 

He added, "In return for the security and life of citizens and the implementation of judicial decisions, there is no tolerance with anyone in implementing judicial decisions and not allowing anyone to be above the law."

For his part, Jalal Sheikh Naji explained that "overall efforts and endeavors are to preserve the security of the Kurdistan Region and to confront any conspiracy and intention that threatens the lives of citizens." 

He added, "Zanyari Agency works in accordance with the principles and applicable laws in the Kurdistan Region and accomplishes its tasks patriotically without discrimination and stressed that any step that is taken is for the sake of public service to protect the entity of the Kurdistan Region."
