Qubad Talabani emphasizes protecting women in the media

Qubad Talabani, KRG's Deputy Prime Minister, met with the Kurdistan Journalists Syndicate to discuss the issues of journalists' rights and the protection of gender balance in the media.

During the meeting, Qubad Talabani emphasized protecting women journalists from any threats and violence that they face.

Talabani also stressed the importance of implementing the journalism law and amending it to fit the modernity in the digital press. 

Moreover, Qubad Talabani called and supported holding the Journalists Syndicate conference in the future.
