French organization provides medical supplies to Halabja Hospital for victims of chemical weapons

The French organization (PUI) supervises the treatment of the victims of chemical weapons and has provided 618,000 euros worth of medical supplies for treating the victims of chemical weapons in Halabja Hospital and training the hospital staff.

The program official at PUI organization said, "on the anniversary of the chemical attack in Halabja, in coordination with the French Consul General to the Kurdistan Region, we visited the hospital, and after holding several meetings and as a response to the hospital staff demands, medical supplies were provided," adding that they provide medicines to the patients for one year.

For his part, the Director-General of Halabja Health, Dr. Azad Mustafa, said that these supplies are very important, and it helps the hospital to expand its services in the near future.
