Qubad Talabani: Youth are a source of hope

The President of the Kurdistan Coalition, Qubad Talabani, on Monday met with the Kurdistan Student Association, in the presence of Shalaw Kosrat Rasul, member of PUK Leadership Council.

During the meeting, they discussed the electoral campaign in Erbil and the mechanisms for delivering the message of the Kurdistan Coalition to the people of Kurdistan; they also stressed the need for all groups to participate in the voting process and for the cadres and supporters of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan to work for the success of the Kurdistan Coalition candidates.

Qubad Talabani said, "our unity with the Gorran Movement under the Kurdistan Coalition strengthens us more in Baghdad and in Kurdistan as well."

Talabani also indicated that the Kurdistan Coalition is important for keeping the balance of power in Kurdistan, adding that they value the efforts of Erbil youth towards success of the Kurdistan Coalitions candidates in Erbil.

Talabani also explained that Kurdistan Coalition sees youth as a very important group of society and a source of hope and works to provide them with better services.

He said that young people voting for the Kurdistan Coalition is a strong response to the oppositions of the Kurdistan Coalition.

For his part, Shalaw Kosrat said during the meeting, "do not waste your voice and work for the success of the Kurdistan Coalition, because we can protect your rights, and our past experience is an evidence for that; we will be stronger in Baghdad this time and will fight for your rights, so work to encourage people to go to the polls and vote for Kurdistan Coalition."

At the end of the meeting, they listened to the attendees' views and comments, and the cadres of the Kurdistan Student Association announced that they work for the success of the Kurdistan Alliance.
