Eighty Kurdish, Arab artists take part in art exhibition in Slemani

Eighty Kurdish and Arab artists took part in the Kahramana Art Exhibition which was held at the National Gallery in the city of Slemani, according to the head of the Kahramana Art Association, Malak Jamil.

"The exhibition is entitled 'Kahramana Association, the ambassador of beauty and brilliance' which is aimed at forming cultural cohesion between the Iraqi provinces with Kurdistan Region to form a beautiful painting that expresses the originality of this great nation with their love for art, beauty, and human values," Jamil told PUKmedia.

For her part, artist Faiha expressed happiness to be a participant in the exhibition which is about beauty, love, and passion. 

"I participated with a painting that expresses the magic of women's eyes and their impact on human emotion, and inspiring them with femininity and sophistication," she said.

Another artist, Thaera Al-Mayahi, emphasized  PUKmedia, that "the exhibition aims to bring art together with love and peace between plastic artists and from various art schools, and it is an opportunity to interact with one another." 

"I showed Baghdadi art in my paintings. The old architecture, heritage, and folklore," she said.
