PUK politburo congratulates Kurdistan Socialist Democratic Party on the occasion of 45th founding anniversary

The Political Bureau of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan in a statement on Sunday congratulated the Kurdistan Socialist Democratic Party on the 45th anniversary of its founding.

"On the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the founding of the Kurdistan Socialist Democratic Party, in the name of the members of the Political Bureau and the Leadership Council, we extend our warmest congratulations to the Secretary of the Kurdistan Socialist Democratic Party and its political Bureau, members and supporters of this struggling party," the statement read.

The Socialist Party had a remarkable role in the struggle for freedom and the demands of the people of Kurdistan and made sacrifices for that, the statement added, stressing that the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan is keen to strengthen its historical relations with Kurdistan Socialist Democratic Party and the rest of the Kurdish political parties, to preserve the unity of the Kurdish ranks and improve the living conditions of citizens and unite efforts to find radical solutions to problems at all levels.
