Four Iraqi athletes participate in 2020 Summer Olympics

Only four athletes from Iraq will be taking part in the 2020 Summer Olympics scheduled to begin on July 23rd in Tokyo.
The four athlete are Muhammad Riadh who will take part in the men's single sculls, runners Danah Hussein and Taha Yasin who take part in track and field games, and there is also Fatima Abbas who will take part in women's archery games.
All four athlete are scheduled to travel to Japan in the coming days.
Iraq has achieved only a bronze medal in the Olympics and that was in the 1960s Olympics in the Weightlifting games.
A Kurdish coach of the Iraqi Olympic Team will also be the only Kurd to participate in the Tokyo Olympic Summer. Karukh Salih, the coach of the Iraqi Olympic Team, is only Kurd to participate the Tokyo Olympics.
