On Sunday, ISIS terrorists blew up several electricity towers in Diyala Governorate, which resulted in a complete power outage in the area.

A source told PUKmedia, "ISIS terrorists blew up electricity towers in Diyala Governorate, which resulted in a complete power outage in the areas of Jalawla, Saadia and Qaratapa for two days."

"The maintenance teams are continuing their work to repair the transmission lines to deliver electricity to the citizens," the source added, noting that this terrorist attack is not the first of its kind and that ISIS terrorists targeted electricity transmission towers in many other areas in Iraq.
