Wayne Marroto: Cooperation with CTG was only to defeat ISIS

In response to a false report by Yahoo News, which was designed to KDP to targeting the PUK counterterrorism unit, it accused the United States of cooperating with Counterterrorism in the killing of Qassem Soleimani, a spokesman for the International Coalition against ISIS denied the false report in a statement on his twitter account.

 

Wayne Marroto, spokesman for the international coalition against ISIS, which is headed by the United States, reiterated on Twitter that the relationship between the Patriotic Union's counterterrorism (CTG) and US forces is only to defeat the ISIS terrorist organization.

 

"Since the campaign against ISIS has begun, the international coalition's cooperation with the CTG has been only in the field of training, and developing advice to defeat ISIS in the country," Marroto said.

 

In the tweet, the spokesman for the International Coalition against ISIS, cited another rejection of the Yahoo News' false report aimed at discrediting the reputation of the PUK counterterrorism unit, the report falsely pointed to the of the PUK counterterroristm units' involvement in the killing of Qassem Soleimani and helping the United States in that incident.
