Qubad Talabani: Strategy Aims to Develop All Parts of the Kurdistan Region

Raparin University and the Vision Institute have organised a scientific forum on the economic development of the Raparin administration, held under the supervision of Qubad Talabani, Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region.

Qubad Talabani took part in the forum online, stating that the government’s current strategy is not confined to rebuilding and developing major cities, but also seeks to develop districts and sub-districts across the Kurdistan Region.

He stressed the importance of the government working to develop all areas of the Kurdistan Region, rather than concentrating efforts solely on the major urban centres.

He added that this forum, which addresses economic development opportunities for the Raparin administration and is organised by the Vision Institute for Strategic Studies, forms an important part of wider plans to develop different parts of the Kurdistan Region.

The one-day event, attended by a number of experts and prominent figures, aims to promote the economic development of the Raparin administration.
