The Iraqi Ministry of Oil announced on Monday, 13 April 2026, that total oil exports and revenues for March recorded a marked decline compared with February.

According to figures issued by the Iraqi Oil Marketing Company (SOMO), and reviewed by PUKMEDIA, crude oil exports including condensates totalled 18,604,951 barrels, generating revenues of more than $1,957,121,000.

The data shows that exports from oilfields in central and southern Iraq during March amounted to 14,561,534 barrels. Shipments from the Kurdistan Region via the Turkish port of Ceyhan reached 1,271,200 barrels, while exports from Kirkuk through Ceyhan stood at 2,772,217 barrels.

By comparison, Iraq exported 99,872,220 barrels of oil in February, with revenues exceeding $6,814,585,000.

Overall, March saw a drop of more than 81 million barrels in exports, alongside a decline in revenues of around $5 billion—equivalent to approximately 71%—attributable to the impact of war and heightened regional tensions.
