U.S. Strongly Condemns Attacks on in Kurdistan Region

U.S. has strongly condemned the attacks targeting diplomatic and consular missions in the Kurdistan Region.
U.S. State Department Principal Deputy Spokesperson Tommy Pigott said a statement that State Secretary Marco Rubio spoke on Monday with Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shiaa' al-Sudani.
Pigott said: "The Secretary strongly condemned terrorist attacks by Iran and Iran-aligned terrorist militia groups in Iraq, including in the Iraq Kurdistan Region."
He noted that the two sides reiterated the importance of the Iraqi government taking all possible measures to safeguard U.S. diplomatic personnel and facilities.
