Iraqi President Expresses Gratitude for PUK Media's Professionalism During Visit to Media Bureau

Iraqi President and Supervisor of PUK's Media Bureau.
The President of the Republic of Iraq, Dr. Abdullatif Jamal Rashid, visited the Media Board of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) in Sulaymaniyah on Tuesday, 25 March 2025. He was welcomed by Emad Ahmed, Supervisor of the Media and Awareness Bureau, and Latif Nerweyi, Head of the Media Board.
During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments and highlighted the importance of maintaining ongoing national dialogue between political parties, aiming to resolve issues and strengthen political stability in the country.
President Rashid expressed his gratitude for the role of the PUK's Media and its staff in professionally handling current events. He stated, "The situation calls for the media to engage responsibly with developments, contribute to the success of the reform project, and offer greater services to both citizens and the country."
In turn, Emad Ahmed thanked the Iraqi President for his unwavering dedication to resolving issues, uniting various parties, and safeguarding the rights of all. He said, "The PUK's Media will continue to support national efforts and the achievement of noble goals by responding to citizens' needs and serving them more effectively."
He also stressed the PUK's balanced approach to all political dynamics, stating, "In line with the decisions of the Presidency and the Leadership Council, we are taking political actions based on a national strategy, emphasising genuine partnership in all areas. Every step we take serves the public interest and reinforces the integrity of the Kurdistan Region."
