Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), appointed the spokesperson for the PUK List for the sixth term of the Kurdistan parliamentary elections.
According to information available to PUKMEDIA, President Bafel has appointed Karwan Gazneyi, a member of the previous term of the Kurdistan Parliament, as the spokesperson for the PUK list for the sixth term of the Kurdistan Parliament.
According to the PUK Elections Bureau's statistics, the PUK has 172 candidates for the sixth term of the Kurdistan parliamentary elections, including 72 in Sulaymaniyah, 64 in Erbil, 30 in Duhok, and 6 in Halabja.
The sixth term of the Kurdistan parliamentary elections is scheduled to take place on October 20, 2024. The PUK is fully prepared for the election and aims to rectify the poor governance in the Kurdistan Region by means of this democratic process and establish a service government.
