Iraqi President: We Support Rejuvenating Economy in Kirkuk

On Monday, September 9, 2024, Iraqi President Abdullatif Jamal Rashid welcomed the Governor of Kirkuk Rebwar Taha at Baghdad Palace.
The meeting focused on the most recent advancements in the security, economic, and service realms of Kirkuk Governorate. The Iraqi President emphasised the significance of Kirkuk and its unique characteristics, as well as the need to enhance unity and harmony among its many elements.
President Rashid highlighted the need for actively implementing and expediting the required measures to rejuvenate the economic and service conditions in Kirkuk. He reiterated his support for the legitimate demands of the local people about security, service, and development.
Governor Taha expressed gratitude and admiration for the Iraqi President's instructions and concern, emphasizing his commitment to making every effort to serve the residents of Kirkuk and all of its constituent elements.
