SMARTSULI Hackathon.
Under the supervision of Qubad Talabani, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, the first hackathon of the SMRTSULI Platform was launched in Sulaymaniyah.
During the announcement meeting of the SMRTSULI City Solutions Hackathon in Sulaymaniyah, which was attended by technology experts, specialists, and Sulaymaniyah health managers, several remarks and recommendations were made regarding improving the private sector, data and information, and enhancing the SMRTSULI platform. The first attempt was to come up with solutions for the problems that Sulaymaniyah's healthcare system was facing.
After Dr. Abdulfattah Hama Rahim Hawrami's presentation on the problems with the system, the hackathon participants were divided into multiple groups and given ten days to submit their ideas for solving Sulaymaniyah's health sector problems. Four proposals will be selected by the panel to proceed to the final competition, which will take place on January 25 at an international conference.
The Deputy Prime Minister recently launched the SMRTSULI Platform to address the problems Sulaymaniyah City is facing. Through teamwork, creative problem-solving, data analytics, and cutting-edge technology, it seeks to involve both professionals and individuals in identifying solutions that will improve the delivery of public services in Kurdistan and Iraq.
