Rizgar Haji Hama: Kirkuk Governor is PUK's Right

The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) has experienced a 90% increase in votes compared to the last elections. The chairman of the PUK's Elections Bureau stated that based on the voting results, the PUK has a rightful claim to the position of governor of Kirkuk.

Rizgar Haji Hama, the head of the PUK's Elections Bureau, stated: "The PUK's votes rose by 90%, and based on the election results, the PUK has the right to obtain the post of governor of Kirkuk."

"The PUK has won more than half of the votes in Kirkuk. Although we lost a lot of Kurdish votes because of our division, we remain capable of fostering unity," he added.

"As the PUK, we are prepared to collaborate in all regions," he stated.
