The PUK faction calls for resuming projects in Kirkuk

The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) faction in Iraq's parliament has urged that projects in Kirkuk resume under the supervision of legislators.

Dilan Ghafoor, a member of the Iraqi parliament from the PUK faction, told PUKMEDIA: "As representatives of the PUK faction in Kirkuk, we officially requested the speaker of parliament to pay serious attention to Kirkuk and resume projects."

"In addition, we asked that all proposed projects in Kirkuk province be reviewed again in the presence of provincial MPs to ensure that there is a healthy balance among the projects," she continued.
