Kurds crowned Arab MMA champions in Syria

Two Kurds were crowned champions of the Arab Super Mixed Martial Arts Championship (MMA) in Syria.
The Arab MMA took place in the Syrian capital Damascus from April 25 to 27. The tournament was sponsored by the Global Mixed Martial Arts Federation GMMAF.
Seven Arab countries participated in the tournament, including Iraq which participated with the two Kurdish MMA fighters, Rebin Dadhil and Mand Faraidun.
"Iraq participated with two Kurdish players, Rebin Fadhil and Mand Faraidun... Thank God, they both managed to become Arab champions in their weight," Karzan Jaafar, the Kurdish coach of Iraq's Martial Arts Team, told PUKmedia.
He also expressed happiness for the big success of the Kurdish athletes, stressing that their win was well received in Syria.
