Bafel Jalal Talabani promises to construct 3-storey building for Said Sadiq College

Bafel Jalal Talabani decided to construct a 3-storey building for Said Sadiq College, while the student representative praised Talabani's continuous efforts for fulfilling their demands.
Ayub Sulaiman, a representative of Said Sadiq College students, told PUKmedia, "In our meeting with Bafel Jalal Talabani, which took about 10 hours, we asked him to construct a 3-storey building for Said Sadiq College. In return, Talabani welcomed the move, pledging to build the building during this year at his own expense."
"The building construction by providing all its requirements is an important step for the town of Said Sadiq to advance the study process," he added.
Sulaiman indicated that Bafel Jalal Talabani pledged to construct the building during this year, noting that about 2,000 students will benefit from the building.
On December 6, Bafel Jalal Talabani held a meeting with representatives of universities and institutes of Slemani, Kirkuk, Halabja, Sharazur, Kalar, Kifri, Khanaqin, Rania, Qaladze, Koya, Chamchamal, Said Sadiq, Chwarta, Dukan, and Darbandikhan.
During the meeting, Bafel Jalal Talabani listened to the students' demands. In return, the students revealed all their requirements to Talabani, and he pledged to fulfill their demands through the PUK team in the KRG. read more
At the end of November, the students of universities and institutes started demonstrating in many areas in the Kurdistan Region, asking for their monthly allowances, which have been cut since 2014. read more
However, the protests witnessed some clashes between the protesters and the security forces, and it is believed that some parties were trying to exploit the demonstrations and use them for their own benefits.
The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan announced since the beginning of the demonstrations that it considers the demonstrators' demands as legitimate and supports peaceful protests.
