Bafel Talabani: We learned dedication from Mrs. Hero Ibrahim Ahmed

In a message to Mrs. Hero Ibrahim Ahmed on her birthday, Bafel Talabani, the Co-President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), confirmed on Saturday that today we remember the birthday of a fighter in the Peshmerga and an effective leader in Kurdistan and Iraq.

 

Bafel Talabani wrote on his account on the social networking site Facebook, on the occasion of the birthday of his mother, Mrs. Hero Ibrahim Ahmed, on Saturday: "We remember the birth of one of the Peshmerga fighters, the rich archive of the revolution, and an effective leader in Kurdistan and Iraq. Anniversary of the birth of one of the mothers who sacrificed her youth in the mountain struggle and after the uprising, she embraced children and youth in Kurdistan and fought and defended for human rights, peaceful coexistence and tolerance."

 

Bafel Talabani added: "Mrs. Hero Ibrahim Ahmed was not only a mother to us, but she was a teacher of the alphabet of freedom - human rights, acceptance of the other, and democracy, which she inherited from the prominent Kurdish fighter and thinker Ibrahim Ahmed," pointing out that they learned from Mrs. Hero Ibrahim Ahmed dedication, tirelessness, and efforts to achieve noble goals and provide services to Kurdistan.

 

"Mrs. Hero Ibrahim is well-aware of the status of culture and journalism, and that is why she was always supportive and encourager for the success of artists, intellectuals, and journalists. And that her works will remain sparkling forever and will be remembered with pride by history," he said.

 

"As we celebrate the birth day of the woman, mother, and fighter Hero Ibrahim Ahmed today, we pledge to take lessons from the history of this proud woman and leader, in providing service to the masses of the people of Kurdistan and preserving the PUK of (Mam Jalal), and support and motivate artists, intellectuals and journalists. And to work to revive the spirit of harmony, coexistence and acceptance of the other and to work hand in hand for the advancement of Kurdistan and its people," he concluded.
