Zamwa Gallery: A historical house constructed during the Sulaymaniyah's establishment

Zamwa Gallery was founded in 1995 and includes artworks of Kurdish artists.

 

The gallery is in a historical house which was constructed during the beginnings of the establishment of Sulaymaniyah city and it is located at the center of the city.

 

This house was the home of the great writer, poet, and novelist of Kurd, laureate Ibrahim Ahmad.

 

Zamwa Gallery contains artworks from Painting, statues, ceramics, and graphics. Dozens of solo and joint exhibition for artists of the Kurdistan Region, other part of Kurdistan, and  Iraq have been arranged at the gallery.

 

The gallery was established by artists( Sarwat Sawz, Khalid Rasool. Zaher Sdeeq, Rzgar Saeed).
