Ala Talabani: We are following Mam Jalal's path

Alla Talabani, the head of PUK bloc in the Iraqi Parliament, on Wednesday described Bafel Talabni's visit to Baghdad as an important visit, stressing the importance of maintaining peace and stability in the disputed areas. 

 

MP Alla Talabani said to Gali Kurdistan that: "the visit of PUK delegation to Baghdad led by Bafel Talabani is important during this time and represents PUK's message to the Iraqi parties and officials based on the beliefs of nation's late leader, Mam Jalal, noting that the purpose of the visit is to discuss the upcoming election, political and economical situations along with the stability of Iraq."

 

Adding to that, Talabani said " PUK had a major role in calming the situation in the country and worked as an influential and important force regarding the matter." 

 

Talabani also mentioned that the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan will win more seats in the parliament in the upcoming legislative election.

 

Representative Alla Talabani added that: "the delegation of PUK also affirmed the necessity of stabilizing the disputed regions and the importance of holding fair election in these areas, mentioning that the joint communities will start working on this Thursday in Khanqin, Kirkuk and others areas to ensure the requirements of a successful election."
